ProblemBlack Americans are three times more likely to develop heart disease.
47 % of Black Americans already have. And three out of four developed it before age 40.

Fact
Heart disease needs to be prevented rather than cured. Early symptoms can be spotted and treated preventing the disease to develop. 

Solution
Beats by Dre creates a website giving people a personalized heart beat based on their heartbeat - by only having to place their thumb on the front camera of their smartphone. The song allows them to continuously check their beat to it and notice changes over time - and if so, to take action. If their heartbeat seems too high it redirects to a website made in collaboration with The Association of Black Cardiologists giving tips on how to get it down.
